Most of the links in this document go straight to my home server in Bunbury, Western Australia. If this is too slow for you to download, many of the files can be found using the search utility in Tucows (www.tucows.com). Those which can, are marked with a small symbol.

Shareware free zone

Increasingly popular is a concept known as "Shareware". This allows you to evaluate, free of charge, for a sometimes specified, sometimes indefinite amount of time. Examples are Netscape's Netscape Navigator (however I have heard that a free version of this is to be released), JASC's Paint Shop Pro, Nico Mak Computing's WinZip and K. Marden-Bey's mIRC.

This page is NOT here to provide shareware. The programs listed on this page are either FREEWARE, FREE FOR NON-COMMERCIAL USE, or contain NON-MONETARY REGISTRATIONS. The latter includes postcardware, careware and a lot of other licences.
